Pros: The Buck Mark's accuracy is very good and the rear sight permits minute adjustments. The overall feel of the Buckmark Standard in terms of size and weight is another very good characteristic. There are different types of grips depending on the exact model (wood, composite and laminate) but they all help this semi-automatic pistol feel really good in the hand. Taking this 22 pistol apart for cleaning is not the hardest or most complicated compared to other target pistols which helps the novice keep it clean, especially necessary because of the characteristics of .22LR ammunition.
Comments: This 22 pistol is very comfortable and easy to use. Although not too picky with types of .22LR ammunition, it does, such as other pistols, prefer higher quality ammunition. The target shooter should try different types of ammo and see which one works best. This is yet another semi-automatic pistol, leaning a little more towards target shooting category which helps the beginner to get used to target shooting.
Cons: No, no no! Only one magazine!? Please! Oh well, you can always order extra magazines from Browning or other online stores. There are .22 pistols that are much more accurate but the price goes up substantially and the novice target shooter will be able to learn all the important factors while spending relatively little money while having fun at the target range.
