Pros: Accuracy is very good when using good quality ammunition such as CCI.  Breakdown is fairly simple and Umarex has a very good video showing the steps to be taken.  Looks and feels (except for the weight) just like a .45 Colt Government M1911.

Comments: Functions just like a Government 1911 with 10 or 12 round magazines and with a much lighter recoil and very low ammunition expense.  The pistol will not scare any new person away from the shooting experience and will help introduce them to the pleasure of pistol shooting.  Umarex, licenced manufaturer of the Colt Government 1911 .22 Rimfire Pistol is based in Germany and is actually the parent company of Walther Firearms.

Cons: A little picky about quality of ammunition used.  The better the quality, the less problems you will have, if any at all with ejections and stovepipes.  As with the majority of the rimfire semi-automatic pistols presented on this site, the better the ammunition used, the less, if any issues one will have.  Even more expensive .22LR ammunition still costs a fraction of the larger caliber ammo.  Only one magazine!

1 Several states have restrictions as to the capacity of a magazine.  City and county laws may be more restrictive.  Familiarize yourself  with your local gun laws.
